Accountant – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting functions, tax compliance, payroll assistance, and fulfill government reporting obligations.

• Collaborate with People Operations on timekeeping and payroll activities.

• Process and verify contributions for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.

• Ensure adherence to all employee-related statutory requirements.

• Prepare and submit BIR tax returns and fulfill compliance obligations.

• Provide assistance to contractors regarding tax compliance and necessary documentation.

• Compile supporting schedules and documentation needed for audits.

• Maintain precise accounting records and systematic filing systems.

• Monitor and reconcile tax payments, government contributions, and transactions related to compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in accounting, taxation, payroll, and government compliance.

• Proven ability to independently manage comprehensive Philippine tax and government compliance obligations.

• In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, payroll processing, and statutory requirements.

• Experience with BIR audits is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in using BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, and local government compliance systems and portals.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple deadlines effectively.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• High degree of integrity and confidentiality when managing financial and employee information.
