• - **Accounting & Bookkeeping:** Transforming the landscape of Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax, and Payroll with our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, advanced AI tools, and exceptional customer support.
• - **FinTech Payments:** Addressing a major challenge for Entrepreneurs by providing digital banking services to new businesses.
• Launched in 2017, Sleek now serves around 15,000 customers from our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and the UK, supported by a dedicated team of about 500 with a startup mentality.

• We are seeking an Accountant who is passionate about the following Mission and Outcomes.
• **Mission:**
• To manage client offboarding with precision, efficiency, and compliance by overseeing financial reconciliations and documentation. Ensure transparency, mitigate risk, and uphold organizational standards to facilitate seamless transitions and maintain financial integrity.
• **Outcomes:**
• **Onboarding and Familiarization (1-2 months)**
• - Acquire a comprehensive understanding of company policies, financial systems, and offboarding procedures.
• - Complete training provided by Sleek (both practical and theoretical).
• - Familiarize with existing offboarding workflows and documentation processes.
• **Process Integration (3-4 months)**
• - Start managing basic offboarding cases under supervision.
• - Ensure timely and accurate final account reconciliations and report preparations.
• - Identify inefficiencies or risks in current processes and suggest improvements if necessary.
• **Ownership (5-6 months)**
• - Independently manage client offboarding cases with minimal supervision required.
• - Achieve a thorough understanding of the offboarding process.
• To qualify, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a client-facing Accountant and likely be based in the PHILIPPINES.
• **Must Haves:**
• - Experience in client-facing roles.
• - Background in Xero or similar platforms.
• - Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• - Tech-savvy with experience in Google Docs, spreadsheets, and similar applications.
• - Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) in practical applications (e.g., Financial Statement Preparation).
• **Nice to Haves:**
• - Knowledge of Singapore compliance, ACRA, IRAS, and experience with Singaporean filings is a valuable addition.
• - Exposure to public practice.

• **The interview process:** The selected candidate will go through the following interview stages, which we expect to last no more than three weeks from start to finish. The format (video call or in-person) will depend on your location and the role.
• **Self Video / TA Interview:** A ~30-minute discussion with Talent Acquisition to delve into your last 1-2 roles for a more in-depth understanding of your experience.
• **Case Study:** A ~60-minute conversation with the Hiring Manager, where real-life challenges relevant to this role will be presented, and you will be asked for your approach to resolving them.
• **Soft-skills assessment:** A ~60-minute discussion with a member of the HR or leadership team to explore your recent work experiences and understand your thinking and working style.
• **Offer + reference interviews:** We will extend a non-binding offer verbally or via email, followed by brief phone or video calls with your provided references.
• **Requirement for background screening:** Please note that Sleek is a regulated entity and must conduct varying degrees of background checks based on staff roles. This may include using external vendors to verify:
