Accountant, Investment Deal Sourcing

📋 Description

• Prepare and examine financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

• Perform in-depth financial analysis to aid investment decisions.

• Oversee the financial performance of investment portfolios and generate periodic reports.

• Identify and assess potential investment opportunities through market research and networking.

• Conduct thorough due diligence on investment prospects, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and return on investment evaluations.

• Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other deal flow sources.

• Assist in developing annual budgets and long-term financial projections.

• Track budget performance and suggest corrective measures as necessary.

• Provide financial insights to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and accounting standards.

• Implement and uphold internal controls to protect company assets.

• Identify and reduce financial risks linked to investment activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support investment initiatives.

• Convey financial insights and investment opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver investment proposals and recommendations to the executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CFA designation is preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, specifically focusing on investment deal sourcing.

• Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling.

• Familiarity with investment strategies, financial markets, and valuation methods.

• Proficient in accounting software and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, etc.).

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
