This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead advisory initiatives focused on accounting and back-office operations for rapidly expanding businesses.
• Carry out operational bookkeeping, preliminary accounting, and interim management tasks, such as serving as an Accountant.
• Oversee month-end closures and manage both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Create and integrate top-tier accounting and document management solutions.
• Execute accounting responsibilities and document financial transactions, including provisions, personnel expenses, bank reconciliations, open items, and the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Evaluate and enhance connections with tax advisors and financial institutions.
• You possess a qualification as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant).
• You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• You possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and the establishment of accounting processes.
• You have experience in stakeholder management, especially in interactions with tax advisors and tax authorities.
• You are capable of independently managing small projects.
• You can enter transactions in at least one accounting software, such as DATEV, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft NAV, etc.
• You bring proficiency in at least one additional accounting specialty, such as OSS, intercompany allocations, IFRS, payroll, or familiarity with additional software systems like LucaNet.
• You have advanced expertise in process automation and accounting tools.
• You are fluent in German and possess strong English language skills.
• You exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
• You are responsible and meticulous in your work approach.
• You are organized and maintain a precise working style.
• You possess excellent communication abilities and an open, authentic personality.
• You engage in project-based work with dedication and enthusiasm.
