Accountant – Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing accounts payable, including the review and posting of received invoices

• Ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles

• Managing supplier/vendor accounts and addressing any discrepancies

• Recording and posting company expenditures

• Assisting with month-end closing activities within the accounts payable department

• Identifying opportunities for financial process improvements

• Aiding in the development and enhancement of software solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or an equivalent qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting

• Proficient in financial accounting software, such as NetSuite, DATEV, or SAP

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management

• Fluent in both German and English
