This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accurately deliver BAS lodgements and uphold meticulous financial records.
• Offer clients clear and actionable financial insights.
• Prepare and submit precise Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Maintain accurate financial records utilizing cloud-based systems such as Xero and Dext.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to guarantee the precision of transaction recording.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide payroll support and serve as a primary advisor for clients' accounting requirements.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant within the Australian Accounting sector.
• A strong communicator who excels in being the go-to individual for clients' accounting needs.
• Expertise in preparing and lodging accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Ensure reconciliation and compliance of GST and payroll liabilities with ATO regulations.
• Maintain precise financial records and full sets of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Proficient in using cloud systems like Xero and Dext, including fixed asset management, journals, and reporting.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure the accuracy of transaction recording.
• Provide payroll support while maintaining effective communication with clients.
