This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Overseeing daily accounting functions across European entities, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Assisting with accounting operations for the Netherlands headquarters and broader European business transactions.
• Preparing precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, VAT filings, tax reporting, and statutory obligations across various jurisdictions.
• Facilitating intercompany reconciliations and group reporting tasks.
• Accurately recording accruals, payroll journals, and general accounting entries with confidence.
• Aiding in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury functions.
• Enhancing procurement workflows and internal approval processes.
• Contributing to the deployment and improvement of MS Dynamics modules and finance operations.
• Collaborating with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and local stakeholders as necessary.
• Discovering more efficient methods of operation and consistently enhancing financial controls and operational efficiency.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a start-up, scale-up, or rapidly growing international company.
• Experience in supporting manufacturing, operations, hardware, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• A strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance within international business frameworks.
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and experience with Dutch and/or broader European financial reporting frameworks is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics CRM/ERP is strongly preferred.
• A self-starter who takes initiative and does not wait for direction.
• An effective collaborator capable of working seamlessly with cross-border teams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication proficiency in English.
• Experience in an international work environment is a notable plus.
• Availability to work from our Katowice office following its launch is required.
