Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Responsible for entering transactions into SAP.

• Close and reconcile sub-ledgers including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany.

• Record and reconcile payroll across various countries.

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and aid in variance analysis preparation.

• Ensure compliance of your portfolio with local statutory requirements, including VAT returns, Statutory Financial Documents, Corporate Income Tax returns, and all other necessary filings in accordance with local laws and deadlines.

• Perform analyses and contribute to additional projects as needed.

• Provide assistance in statutory closing and the preparation of Financial Statements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-qualification accounting experience is essential.

• Availability to work within the EMEA timezone is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience with core finance systems (experience with SAP or similar software is advantageous).

• Commitment to ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficient financial analysis skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Effective time management abilities and capacity to adhere to continuous deadlines.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Experience working remotely is not mandatory but will be considered a plus.
