Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Responsible for posting transactions in SAP.

• Close and reconcile sub-ledgers including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany.

• Record and reconcile payroll for multiple countries.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist in variance analysis preparation.

• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, such as VAT returns, Statutory Financial Documents, CIT returns, and all other filings, adhering to local legislation and timelines.

• Perform analysis and contribute to additional projects as requested.

• Provide assistance in statutory close and Financial Statement preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-qualification accounting experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience with core finance systems (experience with SAP or similar systems is advantageous).

• Ensure adherence to GAAP principles.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

• Solid financial analysis skills.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent time management abilities and capability to meet ongoing deadlines.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• While remote work experience is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
