Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and examine precise financial statements and management reports that comply with GAAP standards.

• Oversee aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, which include reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Collaborate with Finance Systems to enhance processes and integrate automation solutions that boost efficiency and accuracy.

• Practical experience utilizing automation and AI tools to transform accounting operations and reduce manual tasks.

• Uphold a robust internal control environment in accordance with SOX regulations.

• Work closely with finance, operations, treasury, and other business partners to ensure cohesive alignment on accounting policies and business objectives.

• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to facilitate a smooth audit process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CPA preferred.

• Over 6 years of pertinent experience.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting standards.

• A mix of public accounting experience and exposure to the fintech or technology sectors is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience with ERP Software (e.g., NetSuite) and familiarity with automation tools (such as Alteryx, BlackLine, FloQast, or similar).

• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
