Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You are responsible for processing, coding, and posting ongoing accounts payable transactions, while considering period accruals, VAT regulations, and internal policies through the xSuite Invoice system.

• You manage payment transactions.

• You conduct independent account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.

• You oversee the review and posting of travel expense reports in alignment with internal guidelines.

• You carry out preparatory tasks for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

• You assist in regulatory reporting, particularly in the preparation of VAT advance returns, the EC Sales List (Zusammenfassende Meldung), and the Z4 report.

• You consistently analyze current processes and proactively promote their enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have completed vocational training in a commercial field, and ideally possess additional qualifications in financial and/or balance-sheet accounting.

• You have acquired professional experience in financial accounting.

• Your proficiency in the German language is very good, and your English skills are competent.

• You have experience with accounting software, preferably SAP.

• You are distinguished by a structured, meticulous, and independent work style, along with a team-oriented mindset and actions.
