This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
• Ensure precise and audit-ready financial documentation across various solar project entities.
• Enhance accounting and asset management workflows, increasing efficiency and minimizing errors.
• Assist leadership with administrative and operational responsibilities to facilitate strategic focus.
• Guarantee timely reporting to lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Play a key role in the long-term financial stability and operational integrity of the organization.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple project entities, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger upkeep.
• Aid in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, including accruals, depreciation, and management of fixed assets.
• Generate financial statements and reports for stakeholders, lenders, and auditors.
• Reconcile bank, cash, and intercompany accounts while investigating any discrepancies.
• Coordinate regulatory and organizational submissions (LLC reports, REC retirements, compliance notifications).
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficient in full-cycle accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, monthly closures).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and double-entry bookkeeping principles.
• Experience managing multiple entities or projects concurrently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Capability to independently handle recurring deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Background in renewable energy, real estate, or project finance.
• Skills in project management and workflow organization.
