This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote AbbVie products to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with professionals in neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, urology, urogynecology, obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical centers, and reconstructive surgery accounts.
• Identify customer needs related to training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement support.
• Address customer needs utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Provide education and clinical/injection training to residents, fellows, and hospital staff.
• Deliver anatomical and procedural information and training, including injection techniques, postures, and anatomical considerations.
• Leverage AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and product growth while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications.
• Conduct individual, department, and group trainings for residents/fellows within hospital and health system accounts.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory and participate in scheduled overnight training events and sales meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• In the absence of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of five years of technical experience, including at least three years of sales experience, is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products in health systems and private practices is preferred.
• Capability to lift/pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs.
• Must meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• Valid driver's license is necessary.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel as needed to cover the territory, including overnight training events and sales meetings.
• Documented history of strong sales performance is preferred, ideally in clinical, technical, or consultative sales involving multiple decision-makers.
• Ability to manage complex sales scenarios and quickly absorb procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information.
• Proficiency in communicating, presenting, and training diverse audiences.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain the necessary credentials.
• HCIR requirements may involve background checks, drug screens, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
