Account Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular meetings with the VP & CBMs to facilitate data analysis training and prepare materials for weekly and monthly customer evaluations.

• Convert intricate data sets from Circana and internal customer POS platforms into actionable insights to assess promotional effectiveness and inventory health across the account portfolio.

• Assist in securing distribution, pricing, promotion, shelf positioning, and margin goals by item/category within direct territory accounts, ensuring consistency with published brand strategies.

• Support the forecasting of customer events as necessary.

• Collaborate with CBMs to gather and validate data, ensuring all key tracking requirements—including CAR, Inventory, Line Reviews, Business Plans, and TOS—are accurate and current.

• Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including price change forms, deductions, and selling and planning schedules.

• Oversee select ad hoc tertiary accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with 2+ years of e-commerce and category management sales support experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) setting (or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree); experience in the pet care industry is a plus.

• Background in category management & analysis, fact-based selling techniques (including point of sale and syndicated data analysis), with the ability to create, refine, and compellingly present this information from the ground up.

• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms (Nielsen, Power BI, Circana preferred).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Willingness and capability to travel (4-6 times a year).
