This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Plays a crucial role in establishing Balchem as the preferred supplier for customers.
• Cultivates customer relationships and showcases market-leading expertise.
• Provides profitable market access solutions while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Directs cross-functional teams to formulate and implement strategic account plans.
• Creates and executes both short-term and long-term strategic account strategies.
• Regularly assesses and presents status updates on progress.
• Identifies customer requirements and collaborates with internal teams to provide solutions.
• Gathers and reports marketing intelligence; monitors industry trends and suggests actions.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts regular outreach to assigned accounts.
• Oversees contracts and pricing, including negotiation processes.
• Communicates and maintains precise sales forecasts.
• Addresses customer inquiries and offers assistance with product applications.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA preferred; a technical degree is advantageous.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in sales or business development.
• A minimum of 2+ years of recent experience managing multiple accounts in the food ingredient sector.
• Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to lead and cultivate cross-functional opportunities.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight stays as necessary.
