This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +8 more states.
• Oversee designated accounts to meet revenue and margin objectives in line with the budget.
• Discover and chase opportunities for growth, including acquiring new customers, expanding product lines, and increasing market reach.
• Suggest product positioning and pricing strategies that foster long-term market share and profitability.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Work together with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure a consistent corporate image is maintained in all customer interactions and events.
• Participate in trade association meetings and industry events to promote company offerings and generate leads.
• Assist the sales team in managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Evaluate sales data to measure performance, identify weaknesses, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Oversee and regulate expenses in accordance with the department’s budget.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed to achieve overall business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, Economics, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in an Account Manager or similar customer-facing position with a strong history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of the time for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events within your region (this position is remote but candidates must reside in the specified states).
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant sales/customer management software.
• Ability to work cooperatively, build consensus, and achieve results in a team-oriented setting.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. (for instance, during trade show setup).
• Manual dexterity is required for using standard office equipment (computers, mobile devices, copiers, etc.).
