This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Opportunity Management: Proactively drive new business, cross-selling/up-selling, and renewal opportunities by engaging multiple decision-makers to ensure effective communication and consensus throughout the opportunity's lifecycle, leveraging both internal and external networks to enhance opportunity value.
• Consultative Solution Selling: Comprehend and promote solutions that align with customers' specific challenges and strategic goals. Lead efforts across the account team and collaborate with internal and external partners to create successful solutions that deliver value to both the customer and Renaissance.
• Business Closing: Recognize and advocate for solutions that correspond with customers' unique challenges and strategic objectives. Guide the account team, along with internal and external partners, in developing effective solutions that benefit both the customer and Renaissance.
• K-12 Education Insight: Hold extensive knowledge of the K-12 education sector, including public, private, and parochial institutions. Possess a strong understanding of K-12 districts, school administrative roles, funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight. Be familiar with customer workflows, contacts, and their role in decision-making processes.
• Domain Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of common tools and trends in the ed tech industry, staying updated on potential future policies, practices, and information that may impact customer businesses. Understand the competitive landscape and how strategies and tactics function within the marketplace.
• Credibility: Establish rapport based on factual accuracy, expertise across offerings, meeting expectations, and proactively sharing market insights that encourage customers to view Renaissance as a trusted partner.
• Minimum of 4 years of prior sales experience.
• Proficient in collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
• Understanding of educational clients, their organizational structures, and leadership profiles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
