This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Immediately engage in generating new business through referrals, networking, tender platforms, and industry connections.
• Establish robust relationships with facility managers, property managers, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers.
• Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for inspections, monitoring, preventative maintenance, recurring service agreements, deficiency repairs, system upgrades, retrofits, and modernization projects.
• Propel recurring service revenue growth while fostering long-term customer retention and account development.
• Conduct site assessments, understand customer needs, and propose effective fire alarm and life safety solutions.
• Confidently present solutions to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients while positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Manage pipeline activities, customer prospects, and account visibility utilizing CRM tools such as Inspect Point and Hubspot.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, inspections, and project teams to provide accurate quotes, technical solutions, and project assistance.
• Engage in manufacturer training, certifications, trade shows, and industry events while remaining informed on market trends and competitor activities.
• Advocate for safe work practices and demonstrate safety leadership across all facets of the role.
• Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fire alarm, security, building systems, electrical, or technical sales environments.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly develop new business and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Experience or familiarity with fire alarm systems, inspections, monitoring, and life safety services.
• Knowledge of major manufacturers such as Siemens, Mircom, Simplex, Edwards, Notifier, and Autocall is a significant advantage.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to comprehend customer operations and recommend viable solutions.
• Proficient in managing a sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities, and maintaining precise CRM records.
• Comfortable working independently in a territory-based role while collaborating with engineering, service, and technical teams.
• Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a dynamic sales environment.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as needed.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
