This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop a robust customer base that evolves into key accounts.
• Initiate and facilitate actions necessary for inclusion in the Approved Vendor List (AVL) of hyperscalers such as NVIDIA, Google, Meta, and AWS.
• Supply the Product Management and Engineering teams with essential technical and commercial details to specify and design a tailored product portfolio or customized solution.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers.
• Maintain existing business accounts.
• Drive account expansion through upselling and collaborate with local and international teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Serve as the company's representative, managing daily communications and client inquiries.
• Onboard new clients, ensuring they comprehend the product or service and establishing clear expectations.
• Organize regular meetings to assess progress, collect feedback, and align objectives.
• Keep clients engaged and satisfied to reduce churn.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional products or services that address client challenges and enhance company revenue.
• Comprehend each client's specific business objectives and customize offerings to support their success.
• Respond promptly to resolve client disputes, address complaints, and assist with escalations.
• Anticipate risks and mitigate surprises to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, and technical teams to execute client projects and meet deadlines.
• Represent client needs internally, prioritizing the buyer experience while balancing company profitability.
• Oversee and assist with renewals and contract negotiations.
• Analyze account metrics, prepare progress reports, and present findings to both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support and assist in monitoring ongoing global PTD Data Center key projects, including inquiries, quotes, and orders.
• Assist Sales and Business Development in formulating, implementing, and continuously refining the sales and marketing strategy.
• Ensure accurate order and demand forecasts and provide necessary information for operational and production capacity planning, along with the timing of required additional investments in equipment and/or resources.
• Assist Stäubli's internal departments in addressing customer complaints.
• Monitor market trends and periodically report on market developments, products, competitors, new trends, target achievements, and significant events.
• Support new product launches.
• Aid in controlling and reporting local sales activities, including revenue, growth, market, product, and customer-related targets for sales and segment managers.
• Contribute to the development of sales budgets and forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, or key account management (KAM).
• Proficiency in Office 365, CRM (e.g., Aurea), and ERP (e.g., SAP).
• Native English speaker or equivalent level of proficiency.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Outgoing, sales-driven, and internationally experienced individual.
• Ability to work independently with flexibility, organizational skills, and a confident demeanor, even in international settings and with clients.
