This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with target customers across North America to showcase the various railcar and tank car maintenance services offered by Marmon Rail Repair Services, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions.
• Cultivate long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Oversee Marmon customers, focusing on maintaining existing business levels while identifying and pursuing new opportunities by comprehending the customers’ railcar and tank car repair requirements.
• Serve as the intermediary between the customer and the operations team, assigning programs and maintenance events to the most suitable Marmon Rail solutions.
• Take the lead in enhancing the customer experience to align with both client and Marmon Rail expectations.
• Must have the eligibility to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
• A High School Diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, particularly within the railcar and tank car industries, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with railcar and tank car maintenance cycles (e.g., HM 216, lining inspections, etc.) is essential.
• Capacity to efficiently manage multiple strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong creative business writing abilities are crucial.
• Proficient in analyzing business opportunities and providing recommendations that align with current business strategies.
