This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as the primary Account Manager for a designated Account Executive, assisting in the maintenance and growth of their specific business within assigned accounts.
• Address Customer inquiries promptly and facilitate resolutions.
• Function as a liaison among Customers, Vendors, and GuidePoint resources for the designated AE.
• Cultivate and retain knowledge of Products, Industry trends, Vendor Resources, and GuidePoint Security Service offerings.
• Establish and sustain relationships with GuidePoint key Vendors and the Customers of the Account Executive.
• Utilize Vendor resources and relationships to provide value to Customers.
• Enhance communication frequency and engagement with the AE's customer base.
• Oversee open opportunities in existing accounts with support from the AE.
• Identify whitespace opportunities with Customers and Vendors.
• Represent the GPS AE during customer meetings as necessary.
• With guidance from the AE, facilitate the closing of renewal, upsell, and new sales cycles.
• Provide proactive support for upcoming renewals, identifying upsell opportunities and supporting existing business.
• Collaborate on marketing communications to the account base with targeted follow-ups.
• Focus on promoting and selling GPS Professional Services Engagements across the targeted account base.
• Assist the AE with forecast management and internal strategic reporting.
• When necessary, utilize salesforce.com to produce quotes, track open opportunities, and manage renewal opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated success in Inside Sales.
• Experience in Cyber Security is mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to follow-through are required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.
• A consistently positive attitude, a strong drive for results, and the capacity to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and succinctly through email, phone, and written correspondence.
• Flexibility in work schedule is necessary.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Primarily a remote workforce (U.S. based only; some travel may be necessary for certain roles, with on-site work required for Federal positions).
