This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing retail partners to foster growth and achieve results.
• Possess the capability to collect and interpret data while also extracting crucial insights and trends to narrate an impactful business story.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, leveraging data to proactively influence account strategy, drive decision-making, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Accountable for identifying and implementing new store growth opportunities as well as driving overall sales growth within assigned accounts.
• Integrate strategic planning with practical actions to assist retail partners in enhancing performance and profitability.
• Act as the primary liaison for retailers, collaborating closely with operations, marketing, culinary, and finance teams to provide tailored, data-driven solutions.
• Utilize market and industry insights to position Hissho Sushi as an innovative leader in the sushi sector.
• Facilitate business reviews and planning meetings with senior retail leaders to align on objectives, stimulate growth, and generate new ideas.
• Oversee promotions, pricing, and performance analysis with a thoughtful and strategic mindset.
• Work in close partnership with the Operations Director and Managers to ensure excellent in-store execution and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Compliance to guarantee that all Health Department standards are met for both new and existing locations.
• Manage all facets of new sushi bar openings, renovations, and service type conversions, partnering with Supply Chain and Operations to coordinate initial inventory and ensure smooth execution across departments.
• Represent Hissho Sushi at significant industry events, enhancing our brand presence and identifying new expansion opportunities.
• A minimum of 5 years of account management experience in the grocery, food service, or CPG sectors; experience in the sushi industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various departments (operations, marketing, culinary, supply chain) to deliver unified business strategies.
• Strong business acumen with experience in analyzing sales, margins, and customer behavior trends to make informed decisions.
• Professional maturity accompanied by strong interpersonal skills and the capability to accept and implement constructive feedback.
• Excellent organizational skills coupled with a high degree of personal discipline.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks; capable of maintaining focus and clarity in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• A strategic thinker who can execute daily tasks while keeping long-term objectives in mind.
• Comfortable leading meetings and independently presenting to retail partners.
• Proactive in recognizing and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
