This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your designated territory, with a focus on new business opportunities and market growth.
• High-Volume Outreach: Conduct extensive outbound calls and emails daily to identify, qualify, and engage potential customers.
• Showcase Innovative Solutions: Provide engaging web-based and in-person presentations to inform prospects about Birdseye’s cutting-edge security solutions.
• Foster New Business: Continuously generate and convert leads into new clients, emphasizing long-term relationships and sustainable growth.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with internal departments on pricing, supplier selection, and developing strategic sales approaches tailored to the needs of each prospect.
• Value-Driven Selling: Convert customer challenges into revenue opportunities by utilizing consultative selling methods.
• Manage Pipeline: Keep accurate and current data in the company’s CRM, ensuring an organized pipeline and timely follow-ups.
• Forecast and Report: Deliver precise monthly sales forecasts and provide insights during weekly sales meetings.
• Industry Representation: Represent Birdseye at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote innovative security solutions and broaden the customer base.
• Urgent Multitasking: Handle multiple leads and projects simultaneously while remaining focused on achieving results.
• Demonstrated Sales Proficiency: Over 4 years of outside sales experience (preferably in transportation, logistics, or the supply chain industry) with a proven record of exceeding targets.
• Proactive Hunter Mentality: Self-driven, resilient, and proactive in generating new business through cold outreach and networking.
• Strategic Problem Solver: Capability to devise creative, unconventional solutions that address customer needs and facilitate deal closure.
• Comprehensive Sales Process Knowledge: Strong grasp of the entire sales cycle and value-based selling methodologies.
• Adaptable and Responsive: Quick to adjust to client requirements and market dynamics while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
• Effective Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Comfortable delivering professional presentations and navigating complex negotiations.
• Technologically Proficient: Experienced with CRM systems and adept at using digital tools for prospecting and pipeline management.
• Collaborative Team Player: Supportive, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to a high-achieving sales team.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
