This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Focus on New Business Development (100% Hunting)
• Identify, pursue, and secure new enterprise retail accounts across the nation
• Develop and implement a strategic go-to-market and territory plan aimed solely at acquiring net-new logos
• Engage with senior retail decision-makers through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in industry events
• Customize messaging and solution positioning to align with each retailer’s operational and strategic priorities
• Execute Enterprise Sales
• Lead full-cycle enterprise sales processes from prospecting to contract finalization
• Deliver persuasive presentations and solution demonstrations that highlight Badger’s automation and analytics capabilities
• Foster strong relationships with C-suite executives, operations leaders, merchandising teams, and digital transformation heads
• Oversee lengthy, intricate sales cycles that require cross-functional coordination and multi-million-dollar deal management
• Collaborate Across Functions
• Work alongside engineering, product, marketing, commercial, and operations teams to ensure alignment on feasibility and customer requirements
• Provide insights on customers and the market that inform product direction and strategic planning
• Facilitate internal coordination for pilots, technical evaluations, trials, and deployment strategies
• Expertise in Market & Industry
• Maintain a thorough understanding of large-scale retail operations and their challenges, including labor constraints, pricing accuracy, hazard detection, shelf visibility, and inventory performance
• Keep abreast of trends in retail automation, robotics, AI, and in-store data intelligence
• Represent Badger Technologies at conferences, trade shows, and executive forums
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, communications, or a related field
• 8 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales with a proven record as a high-performing hunter, ideally within automation, AI, or technology
• Proven success in selling to large, complex retail organizations or similarly sophisticated enterprise settings
• Experience managing lengthy, intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing high-value transactions
• Strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, negotiation capabilities, and strategic storytelling proficiency
• Ability to build trust, influence cross-functional teams, and foster organizational alignment
