This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Implement all components of a proactive local sales strategy, engaging with external clients, prospects, and organizations to deliver accurate and timely information regarding the UWorld Accounting & Finance Review Products, which emphasize the CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA, and CMT Exams along with ongoing updates to each of these exams.
• Maintain and support the existing customer base while actively working to enhance market presence and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Conduct account-specific presentations, demonstrations, lunch and learns, and other initiatives for all assigned and potential accounts to increase revenue within a designated territory.
• Identify avenues for new business and expansion within current accounts, pursuing these opportunities through effective closing and renewal strategies.
• Create and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies for each Firm/Corporation and university in the New York territory.
• Drive revenue at Firms/Corporations by fostering relationships with COOs, Managing Directors, Human Resources, Learning Directors, Administrators, and recruiters.
• Organize and engage in Firm/Corporation specific events, webcasts, Meet the Firms, and related opportunities to establish thought leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance new and existing relationships with Firm/Corporation administrators, partners, and directors to generate sales inquiries, pilot programs, partnerships, and sales revenue.
• Cultivate, sustain, and strengthen relationships with key universities through on-campus events and presentations, in addition to fostering faculty relationships.
• A minimum of 7 years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success and adherence to high professional standards.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA is a plus; degree should be in accounting, business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing goals, objectives, and sales quotas in the technology or educational technology sector.
• Experience in new verticals is advantageous.
• Must possess reliable transportation; up to 50% travel is necessary.
• Strong familiarity with Salesforce, MS Office, Google, Chrome, etc.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, capable of working in an unstructured environment (demonstrates a strong operational mindset, decisiveness, and a “get it done” mentality focused on delivering results).
• Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate with and influence others without formal authority.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and technological skills.
• Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Ability to travel overnight within an interstate territory, including air travel, and occasionally spend extended periods in a vehicle.
