This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with organizations that are new to Gartner within your designated territory, encompassing everything from initial outreach to closing deals with Large Enterprise clients.
• Transform promising prospects into engaged Gartner clients, taking full ownership of the sales dialogue and negotiation process, leading to the seamless transition of new clients to the account management team.
• Continuously develop a robust pipeline of high-quality leads to meet your sales metrics and ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Tailor the optimal mix of insights, guidance, and practical resources to enhance the value of the partnership.
• Responsible for meeting quotas within your designated territory.
• Oversee complex, high-revenue sales in matrixed and varied business contexts.
• Take charge of forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within complex, intangible sales environments.
• Strong preference for candidates with new-client acquisition experience in a sales capacity.
• Experience engaging with and/or influencing C-Level Executives is essential.
• A demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
• Proven capability to accurately manage and forecast a complex sales process.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
