This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Identify, engage, and secure new municipal clients within designated territories.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with key stakeholders in local government agencies.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to implement targeted account plans and pipeline strategies.
• Diagnose client challenges and position BS&A solutions to enhance municipal operations.
• Conduct thorough research to comprehend organizational priorities, funding dynamics, and decision-making structures.
• Manage opportunities and forecast accurately using Salesforce.
• Employ a multi-channel approach (email, phone, video, social media) to stimulate engagement and progression.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and deliver presentations.
• Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Over 10 years of sales experience, ideally within the governmental or related software sectors.
• Strong background in prospecting, territory planning, and cold-calling.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with prospects.
• A positive, proactive attitude with the capability to navigate through uncertainty and collaborate effectively within a growing team.
