This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Oversee the complete sales process. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle for our mid-market prospects, from incoming leads to closure, utilizing a consultative sales strategy. Your role will involve assisting customers in navigating intricate sales cycles and managing relationships with procurement, IT, and legal teams to secure new business.
• Utilize a consultative sales method to assist our prospects. You'll design and present your own tailored demonstrations of Dovetail to meet customer needs across various audiences.
• Become a Dovetail authority. You will cultivate an in-depth understanding of Dovetail's functionalities and capabilities, as well as the market landscape to effectively assist our prospects.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with your prospects. You will foster a commitment to support leads and their stakeholders in every interaction throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience. Collaboration with customer success during the sales process will be key to setting your prospects up for success as they adopt Dovetail.
• Contribute to the growth of our global mid-market business. You will collaborate with the Sales team to bolster the overall growth of our small to medium-sized business globally and innovate new practices to enhance our sales efficiency as we advance our product-led sales strategy.
• Experience in a consultative sales position within a SaaS organization.
• Demonstrated success in a high-growth sales environment. Help us recognize your impact by sharing your achievements. Ideally, you will have also been an asset to an early-stage sales team.
• Proficient consultative selling abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex sales cycles while ensuring an enjoyable customer experience throughout the process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the operational expertise to develop, report on, streamline, and enhance sales processes.
• Clear communication skills that enable you to convey your thoughts, opinions, and feelings effectively with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive attitude towards urgency, risk, and ambiguity, which are inherent at an early-stage start-up.
