This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Formulate strategies to prioritize, target, and successfully close key opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct account planning for designated accounts, collaborating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
• Initiate and facilitate the sales of Workday solutions to Large Enterprise prospects while articulating the Workday value proposition.
• Take charge of building relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting them with Workday solutions, especially core financials.
• Negotiate agreements with various C-Suite Executives to secure opportunities.
• Keep accurate and timely records of customer/prospect data, pipeline, and service forecasts.
• Over 5 years of experience in selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales perspective.
• More than 5 years of experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to meet quotas and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
• At least 5 years of experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying informed about trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.
• Ability to quickly build trust with key stakeholders.
• Previous experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for both short and long-term prospecting and territory management.
