This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Acquire new clients by prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling and referrals to arrange appointments and build relationships.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their overall goals and needs; create a tailored plan to address both short- and long-term requirements.
• Develop and execute strategies to sustain and/or grow sales within a designated territory; finalize sales with prospective customers to achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain relationships with both new and existing accounts through consistent customer engagement; inform them about new products and services, while gathering feedback on existing offerings.
• Act as an escalation point for any issues or challenges customers face during product use; manage these issues with professionalism and ownership.
• Collaborate across departments as needed to align sales efforts with various key stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and complete client data is maintained in relevant systems promptly to facilitate a smooth knowledge transfer and hand-off of closed sales to Sales Operations and Customer Success.
• Communicate effectively with key accounts and corporate staff, providing reports on budget and sales activities, forecasting product and service demand, and relaying feedback to marketing and product engineering teams for future developments.
• Become proficient in utilizing tools necessary for accurately tracking opportunities and forecasting demand.
• Contribute to the formal review process of all business activities in assigned territories at least quarterly.
• Identify and engage in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing insights on our products; prepare and deliver technical/product presentations and demonstrations.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for junior sales professionals.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working within K-12 school districts and/or school administration.
• A passion for education.
• Knowledge of the K-12 education sector.
• Familiarity with education technology and online learning solutions.
• A team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across the organization to address complex issues.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
• Capability to manage competing priorities in a results-driven environment while showing resilience.
• Excellent presentation abilities.
• Capacity to respond constructively to feedback, mentoring, and coaching.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web navigation.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
