This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Become a specialist in Snowflake’s offerings and conduct discovery calls, tailored demonstrations, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by comprehensively understanding customers' current and future mission needs to promote the Snowflake solution within the market.
• Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities along with ongoing revenue streams.
• Secure, adopt, expand, and enhance sales opportunities with accounts in your designated region.
• Meet sales quotas for assigned accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis by formulating a sales strategy within the designated territory, targeting a specific prospect list, and creating a regional sales plan.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in field sales with a proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales objectives in selling technical solutions and software products to the enterprise market.
• Experience in selling within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.
• Demonstrable experience in executing complex enterprise sales strategies and tactics in areas such as Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML.
• Familiarity with a solution-based sales approach, experience managing a complex sales process, and excellent skills in presentation, listening, organization, and contact management.
• Capacity to treat our product and company as if they are your own, specifically by defining and executing sales plans to achieve strategic and financial goals, utilizing industry knowledge, partnerships, and Go-to-Market strategies.
• Ability to provide constructive, open, and respectful feedback to foster an inclusive work environment.
• A reputation for enhancing collective performance, resulting in enduring relationships with internal cross-functional partners and the ability to cultivate an inclusive workplace.
• Proven capability to independently manage, nurture, and close new client relationships.
