Account Executive – Digital Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire sales process: from discovery and pitching to negotiation and closing.

• Conduct in-depth client discovery calls and product demonstrations.

• Secure new business for digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients.

• Collaborate effectively with marketing and delivery teams to facilitate seamless onboarding.

• Maintain precise pipeline tracking utilizing CRM tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

• Regularly achieve or surpass revenue targets and sales quotas.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in roles such as Account Executive, Closer, or B2B sales.

• Demonstrated success in closing deals within digital marketing, SaaS, or agency settings.

• Strong comprehension of digital marketing services, including SEO, paid advertising, and funnels.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Experience in independently managing a comprehensive sales pipeline.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable systems.

• Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote setting.

• Experience in selling retainer-based marketing services.

• Background in agency or performance marketing environments.

• Exposure to international clients, particularly in the US and UK markets.
