This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage the complete sales process - from identifying prospects and showcasing the product to negotiating terms and closing the deal.
• Partner with our Lead Generation team to obtain a tailored list of wealth firms identified as potential clients.
• Discover additional prospective firms.
• Utilize traditional outreach techniques (calls/emails) and innovative strategies (social media) to arrange meetings.
• Provide customized product demonstrations that align capabilities with customer challenges.
• Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to create comprehensive proposals.
• Address objections and negotiate terms to successfully finalize deals.
• Work together with internal stakeholders to meet client needs.
• Consistently meet or surpass sales quotas.
• Participate in industry and networking events to enhance Mako’s presence in the market.
• Accurately project pipeline and ensure CRM data accuracy.
• 2-5+ years of closing experience in SaaS.
• Demonstrated success as a hunter with quantifiable results.
• Strong understanding of wealth management and finance.
• Experience selling to mid-market companies.
• Proven track record of closing 6-9 deals per quarter within a sales cycle of 3-6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or finance from a recognized Canadian university.
• You exhibit enthusiasm and possess excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable selling technical products.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Preferred: robust network in wealth management.
