This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a thorough sales strategy for your designated territory aimed at achieving revenue goals and growing our mid-market customer segment.

• Initiate impactful discussions to comprehend customer requirements and challenges, customizing solutions accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with the Business Development Representative to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.

• Utilize Contentstack Partners to uncover and engage in co-selling opportunities.

• Qualify and advance opportunities using the MEDDPICC framework.

• Lead negotiations and contract discussions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Partner with sales engineering and cross-functional teams to craft and deliver persuasive proposals that meet customer needs.

• Keep abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to guide sales strategies.

• Use insights to position Contentstack as a solution provider that delivers distinct value.

• Track and analyze sales metrics, forecasts, and performance data to evaluate progress and make informed decisions.

• Maintain an updated Salesforce CRM and regularly inform management about sales performance, strategies, and market insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying enterprise software or technology sales role focused on new business.

• Required experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) within a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

• Proven track record in strategic selling, including strategy formulation, relationship building, and organizational mapping.

• Experience working with Business Development Representatives.

• Demonstrated ability to generate a robust sales pipeline.

• Consistent history of surpassing sales quotas (top 10% of your company) in previous roles.

• Showcased an upward trajectory in sales performance.

• Sales methodology training and strong customer references are preferred.

• Familiarity with account analysis methodologies such as MEDDPICC is a plus.

• A bachelor's or university degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in the content management sector is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with the MACH tech stack is also a considerable plus.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
