This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the pipeline: Develop and expand a portfolio of new mid-market and enterprise accounts through outbound prospecting, inbound conversions, events, conferences, and partner channels—considering inbound as just one of several approaches while upholding an outbound-first, self-generated pipeline discipline.
• Manage the complete deal cycle: Take responsibility for every phase of the deal process—outreach, discovery, technical validation, business case formulation, negotiation, and closure.
• Inform the market: Conduct consultative discovery discussions focused on AI risk, AI-generated code, governance, compliance, and the secure adoption of AI.
• Influence product and go-to-market strategy: Relay field insights back to Product, Marketing, and Leadership to assist in refining messaging, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership to advance strategic opportunities.
• Represent Mend AI in external engagements: Be an active presence at security conferences, executive meetings, webinars, customer roundtables, and throughout the partner ecosystem.
• 5–10+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven history of acquiring net-new logos and consistently surpassing quotas.
• Background in selling security, DevSecOps, developer tools, application security, cloud security, or related technical products to engineering and security organizations.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to effectively engage both technical stakeholders (DevSecOps, engineering leadership, security teams) and economic decision-makers (CISO, CTO, VP Engineering).
• Proven success in early-stage or high-growth settings characterized by high autonomy and minimal process overhead.
• Excellent business acumen, curiosity, and comfort in navigating a rapidly evolving market landscape.
• Rigorous pipeline management, forecasting precision, and meticulous CRM hygiene in Salesforce.
