This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, government, and defense communications sectors.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with prime resellers.
• Create and implement account plans aimed at both current and emerging programs, projects, and opportunities.
• Lead or assist in the development of capture strategies, proposal drafting, pricing, and negotiation efforts for significant pursuits.
• Collaborate extensively with internal teams, including engineering, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, sales operations, finance, and executive leadership.
• Develop and uphold a sales forecast to support a “build to forecast” production model, thereby minimizing lead times and enhancing sales.
• Stay informed about customer acquisition strategies, program funding, contracting mechanisms, and the competitive landscape.
• Work with Marketing to organize and support industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings as the company's representative.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to shape product development, technology roadmaps, and long-term business strategies.
• Build, monitor, and report on pipeline activities utilizing SalesForce CRM.
• Expand the rolling new business pipeline in SalesForce to project at least 5 years into the future.
• Maintain the SalesForce database to ensure the accuracy and relevance of data.
• Ensure that all key customer accounts are assigned an Account Manager.
• Act as Capture Manager for all opportunities with prime resellers.
• Direct the planning, research, and analysis of the organization's objectives, long-term planning, business opportunities, and development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Provide insights to the Product Management and Engineering Teams regarding new product or service features that need to be developed to address current and future customer requirements.
• Manage assigned budgets to fulfill the aforementioned responsibilities by allocating resources for research and capture initiatives.
• Delegate or fulfill the role of Cost Account Manager (CAM) for these initiatives.
• Strong understanding of radio frequency amplifier technology, multi-propagation architectures, and terminal systems.
• Knowledge of international export compliance (ITAR, EAR).
• Proven ability to cultivate customer relationships, manage intricate sales cycles, and close multi-million-dollar deals.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital modem technology, multi-propagation architectures, and terminal systems.
• Familiarity with LEO, MEO, and GEO constellations as well as emerging multi-orbit architectures.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. Secret clearance.
