This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote a product to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices as well as hospitals and health systems.

• Identify and uncover customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address them with the appropriate AbbVie resources.

• Deliver expert anatomical and procedural information and training, utilizing the correct anatomical terminology to instruct on injection paradigms and postures while emphasizing various anatomical and injection insights and considerations.

• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other essential hospital personnel.

• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to advocate for the product for approved indications and conduct individual, department, or group resident/fellow training within hospital and health system accounts.

• Adhere to all company policies, required reports, requests, and promotional compliance, while effectively managing AbbVie field assets.

• Efficiently leverage AbbVie's sales and data resources to boost productivity and growth of AbbVie products while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; however, relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• At least five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, which includes a minimum of three (3) years in a sales role, along with a high school diploma or GED.

• A documented history of strong sales performance is preferred, ideally in a clinical, technical, or consultative sales role involving multiple decision makers.

• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, in both health systems and private practice settings.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test, along with meeting safe driving requirements.

• Capability to manage a complex sale, quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information, and effectively communicate, present, and train to a diverse range of audiences.

• Physical ability to lift or pull training models weighing between 25-100 lbs and meet necessary hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
