ABAP Developer – HCM Payroll (PY)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engages in activities that encompass the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to supporting the final deployment of the features they have developed, in alignment with agile development methodologies.

• Become an integral member of the development team, undertaking tasks to be accomplished during each Sprint.

• Execute development-related responsibilities including analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements management.

• Oversee their own workload and promptly communicate any delays or obstacles to the team.

• Mentor and assist developers within the project development team.

• Code and integrate software components in accordance with technical specifications, utilizing the project’s established development tools, programming languages, and libraries.

• Offer support to the IT team and client users upon request, regarding the features and specifics of developed components, modules, and software packages.

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for the client on the developed software to ensure proper system functionality.

• Implement custom solutions by writing ABAP code or utilizing the Webdynpro platform.

• Program and develop software applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or completion of a higher education degree along with a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology comprising at least 360 hours.

• Preferred experience: 3 years in systems development utilizing ABAP and Webdynpro in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment.

• Proficiency in ABAP (reports, function modules, ALV, SmartForms, SAPscript).

• Experience with Webdynpro ABAP.

• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.

• Proficient in tools such as SE80, SE11, SE37, SE93, SE24.

• Knowledge of integrations via RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and SOAP Web Services.

• Experience with the transport cycle using SAP CTS (Change and Transport System).

• Basic understanding of SAP data modeling (transparent tables, views, domains).
