9th Grade Physical Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Demonstrate a commitment to equitable practices across all responsibilities outlined in the role.

• Assist the instructional program by providing asynchronous recorded lessons alongside synchronous teaching.

• Offer clear, constructive, and consistent feedback on all student assignments.

• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and fellow educators.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the K-12 curriculum for the entire program.

• Function within the Response to Intervention/Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework.

• Establish strong relationships with students and their families.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a professional learning community.

• Ensure student records and data are accurately maintained and up-to-date.

• Engage in student recruitment activities and other promotional initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach 9th Grade in Ohio.

• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Highly organized and punctual.

• Focused on meeting the needs of students and families.

• Demonstrates a high level of flexibility.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• History of being a team player.

• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.

• Willingness to work occasional evening hours when necessary to accommodate families.

• Capability to work remotely.

• Must have access to a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step verification.
