This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct contribution calculations and annual nondiscrimination assessments for small to medium-sized 401(k)/Cash Balance plans.
• Examine employee census information and formulate client inquiries.
• Execute ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), and 401(a)(26) nondiscrimination evaluations.
• Compute options for tests that do not meet requirements.
• Finalize DC balance forward valuations, journals, and participant statements.
• Determine cash balance contributions and earnings, preparing corresponding journals and participant statements.
• Carry out calculations for self-employment income.
• Conduct year-end estimates, plan design analyses, and projections.
• Perform and review trust accounting and Forms 5500-SF.
• Engage in technical research and support consultants with compliance and plan design matters.
• Recognize consulting opportunities and offer value-added suggestions.
• Aid in enhancing testing procedures and programs, including testing new systems and drafting procedures.
• Take part in team meetings and collaborative discussions.
• Manage assigned workload independently and update the workflow system on a daily basis.
• Complete projects accurately, efficiently, and within set deadlines.
• Safeguard, secure, and properly manage confidential data for Ascensus and clients.
• Provide backup support and handle additional assigned responsibilities.
• At least 3 years of experience in administering 401(k)/Profit Sharing/Cash Balance plans.
• Intermediate to advanced expertise in conducting DC nondiscrimination testing, including carve-outs, new comparability, gateway, and top-heavy analyses.
• Practical cash balance experience, encompassing the calculation of hypothetical contributions and the execution of 401(a)(26) and combo DC/CB nondiscrimination testing.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of retirement plan regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with others.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business requirements.
• Dependable and accountable, demonstrating a proven record of fulfilling commitments and responsibilities.
• Dedication to professional growth and education in the retirement sector.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet business demands.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced remote work environment.

• Internet speed of 25 Mbps or higher required for individual use.
• Preferred ASPPA CPC or QPA designation.
