3rd Line Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• In the role of a 3rd Line Engineer on the 24x7 Service Desk, you will serve as the subject matter expert within our Service Desk team.

• You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of advanced solutions across our support technologies.

• This position functions as the final escalation point for intricate issues, while also driving automation and governance.

• You will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our support services and improving customer experience.

• This role requires a shift-based schedule, following a 4-days on, 4-days off pattern, and includes working during both day and night shifts, as well as bank/public holidays.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing remote support for our technologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and licensing.

• Knowledge of Microsoft AVD & Remote Desktop.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory & Entra ID.

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange & Exchange Online.

• Skills in Microsoft Intune & Group Policy.

• Competence in Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive.

• Understanding of Microsoft Teams.

• Experience with end-user devices and desktops.

• Knowledge of on-premise networking.

• Proficiency in VMware.

• Strong customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

• A proactive and positive attitude toward problem-solving and client interactions.

• Experience with PowerShell.

• Familiarity with ITSM and remote support tools.

• Possession of MD-102 or MS-700 or SC-300 or a similar certification.

• Experience in virtualized Microsoft environments is desirable.

• ITIL Foundations certification is desirable.

• MS-102 certification is desirable.
