This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Develop modular level art assets and props from the ground up.
• Design trim sheets, both tileable and unique textures, and skillfully integrate them to produce high-quality assets.
• Optimize assets for various platforms, which includes creating LODs and collision meshes.
• Strong capability in designing trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, along with the effective integration of these elements. This role focuses on crafting assets from scratch rather than simply placing them within the map.
• A solid background in modeling, ideally across a range of styles, with the ability to manually adjust weighted normals for assets.
• Extensive knowledge of baking and texturing using tools like Marmoset, Substance Painter, and Designer, as well as the capacity to seamlessly bake assets composed of multiple parts.
• Proficiency in Maya is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the video game industry focused on building architecture and props.
• A strong passion for game creation and the ability to learn rapidly will be advantageous.
