• Produce top-notch 3D models of vehicles and their parts utilizing reference materials such as photographs, videos, and technical documentation.
• Create textures and materials employing industry-standard texturing software and techniques.
• Rig and animate intricate mechanical components and systems including aircraft landing gear, control surfaces, and doors.
• Enhance assets for performance while preserving high visual fidelity, which involves LOD creation and effective UV layouts.
• Work collaboratively with the team to resolve issues related to the integration of 3D assets and export pipelines.
• Adhere to internal workflows and naming conventions to ensure compatibility and consistency across the project.
• Expertise in 3D modeling with 3ds Max.
• Strong grasp of modeling and texturing techniques, with a sharp eye for accuracy in shape and detail.
• Basic knowledge of rigging and animation fundamentals.
• Familiarity with optimization processes and the creation of LODs.
• Proficient in problem-solving and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable with communicating and collaborating in English.
• Able to utilize various reference sources to faithfully recreate complex structures.
• Prior experience in creating high-quality aircraft or vehicle models is preferred.
• A personal passion for aviation, simulation, or gaming is preferred.
• Experience with the Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK and DevTools is preferred.
• Knowledge of MSFS-specific rigging, exporting, and troubleshooting processes is preferred.
