3D Art Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, model, and produce high-quality 3D assets that encompass various elements, including buildings (both interior and exterior), environmental features, individual items, props, and collaborative partnerships.

• Adhere to established art-production workflows, processes, and documentation to facilitate the efficient creation, optimization, and integration of assets within the game.

• Work closely with the art lead to tackle artistic challenges, ensuring that assets are delivered on schedule, efficiently, and within the designated technical performance limits.

• Leverage creativity and player insights in the asset development process, making sure each asset aligns with the art lead’s guidance and the objectives of the game team.

• Incorporate feedback from the art lead to guarantee that all items meet quality benchmarks, conform to the artistic vision, and fulfill technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist within Roblox, or equivalent freelance or independent game development experience.

• Proficient in Roblox Studio with a comprehensive understanding of optimization and performance best practices.

• Strong expertise in mesh topology, efficient asset creation, and optimization strategies.

• A portfolio that demonstrates Roblox environments, buildings, houses, map locations, or similar stylized game worlds.

• Proven ability to adapt and work within a predefined art style.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative and feedback-driven approach.

• Nice to Have: A genuine passion for cars and car culture!

• Experience with licensed intellectual properties and established brand guidelines.

• Background in constructing roads, cities, or expansive environments.
