2nd Engineer, VLCC Oil Tanker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Russia.

📋 Description

• Overall command of the ship and accountability for ensuring crew safety and environmental protection.

• Accountable for adhering to International regulations and the company's safety practices and policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (STCW Reg II/2) with verification.

• Possession of valid STCW certifications necessary for the role.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Experience in a multicultural work environment.

• Minimum experience requirement: 4 months in rank on a vessel of similar type/size.

• Experience on a vessel of the same tonnage is essential.

• Familiarity with Steam Turbines cargo pump systems is preferred.

• Experience with Crude Oil and Ship-to-Ship (STS) cargo operations.

• Experience in trading areas of the USA and Australia is preferred.
