2D Animator – B2B Agreement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Animate a diverse array of 2D assets, such as character and creature movements, symbols and win animations, FX animations, background/environmental effects, UI transitions, gameplay effects, and bonus game features.

• Collaborate with 2D artists to prepare layered artwork for animation.

• Deliver seamless, polished animations that are optimized for various devices and engines.

• Work closely with designers and Art Directors to synchronize animation timing with gameplay.

• Create prototype animations to establish initial motion direction.

• Prepare and export animations using tools like Spine, Unity, After Effects, or similar software.

• Maintain consistency and quality across all animation assets.

• Efficiently implement feedback from leads, producers, and QA teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Spine, Unity, After Effects, or similar 2D animation software.

• Strong grasp of animation principles, including squash/stretch, timing, easing, anticipation, overlap, etc.

• Experience in animating UI, symbols, characters, and FX.

• Ability to optimize animations for performance on browsers and mobile devices.

• Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Clip Studio Paint.

• Junior: minimum of 1 year of experience, a solid demo reel, and strong fundamentals.

• Regular: 3 years of experience in game development, with confidence in independent production.

• Senior: 4–6+ years of experience, with strong ownership of animation, and iGaming experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail and creativity.
