Zoho CRM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily administration of Zoho CRM, including users, profiles and roles, modules, fields, layouts, reports and dashboards, data hygiene, as well as validation and assignment rules, while supporting end users across sales, marketing, and operations.

• Read, troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing automation, including reverse-engineering and documenting as necessary.

• Develop new features and server-side functions (using Deluge, Node.js, or Java) to improve the CRM’s sales processes and expand into marketing and other operational areas.

• Update existing automation to Node.js or Java to enhance maintainability, and contribute to the evolution of the platform over time.

• Sustain and enhance integrations between Zoho and our backend systems through Zoho Flow and APIs, collaborating closely with the backend/API owner on the team.

• Maintain documentation of the system to ensure essential knowledge is not solely retained by individuals.

• Collaborate with the product manager and stakeholders from sales, marketing, and operations to convert requirements into effective CRM configurations and data-model decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Zoho CRM administration and configuration.

• Demonstrated ability to read, debug, and maintain Deluge automation; extensive experience with Deluge is advantageous but not mandatory if you can quickly become effective.

• Strong programming and scripting skills in Deluge or Node.js for developing server-side functions.

• Familiarity with CRM data modeling, including modules, relationships, and the associated trade-offs.

• Experience with at least one integration method (such as Zoho Flow, webhooks, or REST APIs).

• Comfort in reverse-engineering an existing, minimally-documented system and taking ownership of both development and administration within a single position.

• Zoho certifications (e.g., Zoho CRM Developer/Administrator) or equivalent experience are preferred.

• Exposure to the broader Zoho One suite (including Creator, Desk, Analytics, Books) is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of database management and principles of data security.

• Proven experience collaborating with US-based business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must currently reside in or be located within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater Pune.
