Flutter Developer Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance digital products for Grupo Boticário's retail locations and franchises.

• Serve as a technical expert while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.

• Collaborate with the Tech Manager to prioritize tasks, address technical debt, and engage in strategic planning.

• Work alongside leaders from various departments to ensure consistency and integration of technology across platforms.

• Oversee the development lifecycle, suggest enhancements, and make informed decisions on complex technical issues.

• Direct the creation and upkeep of technical documentation.

• Mentor developers and assist with Individual Development Plans.

• Disseminate knowledge through hands-on workshops, pair programming, and technical forums.

• Encourage networking and the sharing of best practices among teams.

• Facilitate ADRs, refinement sessions, and high-level technical discussions.

• Design and evaluate architectures with an emphasis on performance, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and resilience.

• Enhance code review practices, branching strategies, and version control.

• Monitor alerts, dashboards, code quality, hotspots, and technical debt.

• Lead War Rooms and oversee postmortems, implementing preventive and corrective measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Flutter, covering state management, navigation, architecture, and API integration.

• Extensive experience in the mobile application lifecycle, user experience/user interface, performance, and optimization.

• Advanced understanding of REST APIs, error management, authentication, and asynchronous data handling.

• Strong background in automated unit and widget testing.

• Skilled in Git and workflows like Gitflow, Trunk-based, or similar methodologies.

• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between business/product and technical teams.

• Ability to engage in discussions related to backend architecture and work with technology stacks beyond Flutter.

• Experience in customer service, sales, POS systems, or retail/franchise solutions.

• Knowledge of micro-frontends or shared packages/components within Flutter.

• Experience with mobile observability metrics/tools such as Crashlytics, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
