Youth Nonprofit Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation of content for the annual report and other essential organizational publications.

• Craft engaging case studies that showcase the organization's impact and success stories of partners.

• Write ghost articles for thought leadership that feature contributions from executives and subject matter experts.

• Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, leaders from nonprofit organizations, and partner entities.

• Simplify complex topics related to nonprofits and social impact into compelling and accessible content.

• Adjust writing style to align with the diverse voices of multiple contributors.

• Work collaboratively with communications and leadership teams throughout the editorial workflow.

• Revise content based on feedback from stakeholders and editorial reviews.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines.

• Possible deliverables include: Thought leadership articles, ghostwritten executive content, case studies, annual report content, website articles, newsletter content, strategic communications materials, and/or social impact storytelling assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in working with nonprofits, foundations, associations, or community-oriented organizations.

• Understanding of youth development, education, philanthropy, fundraising, or nonprofit management.

• Experience in writing content aimed at media dissemination and publication.

• Background in strategic communications or public affairs.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership initiatives.
