This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the lead editor of Languages and Linguistics to oversee a diverse range of projects.

• Communicate with authors as necessary.

• Oversee the peer review process for all proposals related to languages and linguistics.

• Conduct light developmental editing for textbooks.

• Evaluate and format manuscripts in preparation for publication.

• Review, assess, and ensure quality of multimedia files prior to publication.

• Create and organize webpages for additional multimedia resources on WordPress.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of office experience is required.

• Intermediate proficiency or higher in a language other than English is necessary.

• Fluency in English is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in book publishing is preferred.

• Remote work hours must align with regular business hours in Eastern Time.
